Art was my first passion…

I began painting and drawing at a young age. Art was a refuge where I could control medium on paper during a chaotic time. I excelled in my middle school art classes, and won Most Artistic of my 8th grade graduating class. In high school I got accepted to Marin School of the Arts where I dove into my art practice; attending multiple art classes a day taught by great teachers/mentors. I won awards: Fearless Pursuit of Artistic Growth, First Place in Drawing, and Second Place in Painting. I studied Studio Art in college for one and a half years. There I explored new mediums like sculpture and black and white film photography (which I fell in love with). I decided to change my major but continued to practice drawing, painting, and photography. Recently, my art was included in the Syzygy Cosmos Art Show in San Francisco, January 2019. I create art because it makes me come alive. It’s my meditation practice and where I find joy. My art styles are varied just like my interests. I hope to add more creativity, color, and joy to this world through my artwork. Please contact me if you’d like a mural, sign, or personal piece!
